About us

TaMVO is a non political, non denominational and non governmental organization.

It was started when a young man undertook his national service in a community school in Dodowa after his tertiary education. Realizing the impact his service had on his students and the community at large, he further offered six extra months of voluntary service to the community school.

The Challenge

The young volunteer later decided to start this organization to get like minded people on board no matter where they come from, once they can communicate in English language.

This young man is currently the country director of TaMVO.

The aims of TaMVO are to use local and foreign volunteers to;

Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Supplement the number of teachers in community schools to provide education to children and the youth.
Promote intercultural exchange and volunteer service.
Educate the children, youth and the entire communities on HIV/AIDS.
Teach the kids and youth soccer lessons.
